CONGRATULATIONS to Linda Collins, the winner of our 1st Annual Dessert competition on Oct. 18th 2009! The dessert is called Tin Roof. It's got Oreo cookies, butter, ice cream, herseys, peanuts and whipped cream. And it's really good too!
We had over 35 contestants audition their best dessert, and this was our choice for the numbero uno! She won a $100 gift certificate to Flancer's! Her creation will be sold at both stores soon with a portion of the proceeds to benefit 2 year old Penny Gorman of Mesa, awaiting a heart transplant.
A special thanks for joining in the festivities to Miss Arizona, Savanna Troupe, a fantastic person and a real good judge of desserts too! Please ask for Linda's Tin roof dessert next time your dining with us, and help out little Penny and her family at the sametime!
